I don’t have prior CrossFit experience. How do I get started?
At CrossFit First Creek, we offer two versions of each daily workout. One version is referred to as Level-One or L-1, which means the workout excludes olympic weightlifting and gymnastics. The other version is the more “traditional” style of CrossFit workout, which means the workout may contain a combination of gymnastics and/or olympic weightlifting. It all depends on your preference in workout style!
The L1 class option does not include olympic weightlifting or gymnastics. This class option will still give you the thrill of a CrossFit workout, though! Instead, this version of the workout will focus more on bodyweight, cardio, and building endurance. If this is the class option you wish to follow, you can jump right in!
Great! We’d love to get you started and on your way to success in our box with the traditional CrossFit class option. Traditional CrossFit workouts will usually include some form of olympic weightlifting and/or gymnastics. If you’re totally new to CrossFit and weightlifting, fear not! Just pop on by to our Sunday Open Gym at 1 p.m. for the On-Ramp Program and a coach will be there to assist you in learning the movements and techniques. Can’t make it to the Sunday On-Ramp time? Just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will figure something out. Just be aware there will be an additional charge if booking an On-Ramp time outside of the normal Sunday hour.
I have prior CrossFit experience and I’m ready to jump back in at CFFC!
